THEMES

CHALLENGE 1 (Prize Bounty: 500 USD) :

*Theme:* Setting up GariSDK and Creating a Wallet

*Task 1: GariSDK Initialisation*

- Install the GariSDK on your local machine

- Create a new project using the SDK

- Initialise the SDK in your project

*Task 2: Get Token*

- Generate an access token from the Gari network

- Use the token to authenticate and interact with the network

*Task 3: Create or Get Wallet*

- Use the SDK to create a new wallet on the Gari network And get token

*Bounty: 50 USD distributed to each successful submission with a completed task (reviewed by judges)*

CHALLENGE 2 (Prize Bounty: 1000 USD) Level: πŸ§‘β€πŸ’»πŸ§‘β€πŸ’»

*Theme: Interacting with GariSDK and Creating an Airdrop*

All three tasks from STAGE 1 plus,

*Task 4: Airdrop*

- Use the SDK to create an airdrop of a set amount of tokens to a specified list of wallet addresses

- Verify that the airdrop was successful by checking the balance of the specified wallets

*Task 5: Fetch Balance*

Use the SDK to fetch the balance of a specified wallet address

- Verify that the returned balance matches the expected amount

*Bounty: 75 USD to each successful submission with a completed task (reviewed by judges)*

*Theme: Advanced GariSDK Usage

*All five Tasks from STAGE 1 and STAGE 2 plus*

*Task 6:* Retrieve the transaction history of the created wallet using GariSDK, with or without a specific transaction ID

*Task 7:* Optionally, transfer some tokens from the created wallet to another wallet address using GariSDK

Challenge 1 : Explore and develop creative, useful IoT use cases on Robonomics for smart home applications.

Build a unique web app for Unique Network

THEMES

CHALLENGE 1 :

THEME: Minting with Unique Network Wallet.

*TASK:**

Create a collection A and mint a few tokens for that collection using the Unique Network wallet.*

50 USD in equivalent token value distributed to each successful submission with a completed task (reviewed by judges), to max first 20 successful submissions. Each submission must come from a registered team, one submission per team.

CHALLENGE 2:

*THEME:* Using the SDK to create a collection.

*TASK:**

Use the SDK to create a collection B. Start with deploying the collection and token images on IPFS. Create a collection with a set of attributes and mint tokens with the images deployed on IPFS in the previous step.

*LEVEL:*

300USD in equivalent token value distributed to each successful submission with a completed task (reviewed by judges), to max first 10 successful submissions. Each submission must come from a registered team, one submission per team.

CHALLENGE 3 *

*THEME:* Nesting digital assets via the SDK.

*TASK:**

Create a bundle using tokens from two collectons A and B.

Collection A should provide the bundle root tokens, i.e. only a token from collection A can be a bundle root. Collection B should provide tokens which will be nested in a bundle. Use the token B attributes as as a way to define criteria for nesting collection B tokens, i.e. use token attributes as criteria for the nesting logic. Go no more than 3 nesting levels deep (root=level 0,level1, level2), i.e. 2 offspring generations max.

*LEVEL:*

PRIZE POOL :* 2000USD in equivalent token value distributed to each successful submission with a completed task (reviewed by judges), max first 3 successful submissions.

Participation Guidelines

Team Formation:
The participants are free to form their own teams with minimum two members and maximum 5 members in each team.

Submission of more than one problem statement:
Hackathons are open knowledge events and the organizers cannot take any responsibility of protecting the idea, codebase or any other information shared during the course of this hackathon or later.

Notifications:
Hackathons are open knowledge events and the organizers cannot take any responsibility of protecting the idea, codebase or any other information shared during the course of this hackathon or later.

Stages:
The stages of participation, resubmission , shortlisting and selection shall be the prerogative of the organizers and may be changed based on requirements.

Support:
The organizers shall try and support with some reference material, workshops etc. However, the organizers are under no obligation to do any kind of hand-holding or tutoring. This is a competition and the participants are expected to be prepared in the required skill set.

Incentives:
The organizers and sponsors reserve the right to cancel incentives if they are not satisfied with the quality of submissions

Intellectual Property:
Hackathons are open knowledge events and the organizers cannot take any responsibility of protecting the idea, codebase or any other information shared during the course of this hackathon or later.

Decision of Jury:
The decision of Jury in shortlisting/selection is final and irrevocable and cannot be challenged whatsoever.

Timelines:
The timelines of the hackathon, the stages may change based on several internal and external factors.

Shortlisting and Selection Criteria:
The shortlisting and selection criteria from one stage to next and final stage shall be notified as and when required. The criteria may change based on relative competition, number of submissions, discretion of mentors and jury.

Tech Stack:
The details of tech stack, programming language and other technical details shall ne followed as per guidelines notified with the specific hackathon track and problem statement. If no specific guidelines are given, it shall be deemed open choice by participants.

Dynamic changes:
In the course of this hackathon, the sponsors, mentors, partners, jury, incentives, shortlisting criteria, timelines and other things may change due to unforeseen circumstances. The organizers are under no obligation to inform or explain the same to participants.

FAQ

The Hackathon is centred around Web 3.0 and Blockchain broadly. Multiple sponsors and technology companies have created hackathon tracks. Some tracks are open ended while other tracks have problem statements defined.

IBC-HACK-3 is a hybrid Hackathon. However, select teams from this hackathon will be invited to a Mega hackathon which will be an offline hackathon in the main conference.

The event registration starts from 5th November, 2022 for IBC-HACK-3 and the application will be closed by 18 December, 2022.

Participation is FREE for IBC Hackathon 3

Everybody is welcome and can apply. Whether you are an entrepreneur or a student you are welcome.

. The minimum size of the team is 2 and maximum size 5. However, we would recommend a team size of 3-4 members.

The prize pool of IBC-HACK-3 is $65,000 + other prizes from our sponsors including: opportunity to meet best-in-class mentors, connect with investors etc.

The jury panel composition will be announced closer to the date of the hackathon demo day.

Some tracks are open ended while other tracks have problem statements. If you are choosing a track which has problem statements defined, you have to pick one of the problem statements listed. If you are choosing a track which does not have problem statements, you can have your own problem statement.

You can choose only 1 problem statement to work on. For the purpose of this hackathon.

You are welcome to use any library, component etc provided you are following the guidelines. Do not share anything that cannot be shared on a public forum as per the licensing guidelines by the owner of those components /libraries.

The choice of technology stack, programming language, etc is entirely your choice.

Yes. You can be part of another team as well during the application process. However, after the process of application shortlisting is completed, you would not be able to change teams.

The members are expected to record a video pitch with the recording of the demo and be present online to answer the questions of the jury.

Hackathons are open competitions and we do not bear any responsibility of protecting the IP as it will be reviewed by multiple mentors and also peer reviewed. Do not share anything that cannot be shared on a public forum.
